We value positive relationships with parents and carers to help develop better social and emotional skills in children. We know that when children are engaged with their learning, they attend school more regularly, leading to better long term outcomes.
For parenting and counselling services, visit the Family Support page, and for direction and clarity on regulations, processes and procedures at our school, read the Sydney Catholic School policies.
We value parent participation in the classroom, as a mentor or sharing their gifts and expertise. The Parents and Friends Association (P&F) at St Charles Catholic Primary School Ryde meet every term. As well as fundraising for the school, they promote friendship and co-operation assisting with projects beneficial to the school. The sense of belonging to our community is enhanced with every student year having a designated class parent to organise school and social events. We deliver excellent communication through Compass, newsletters and regular updates on all events.
